Yep. Going to see Avengers and The Lucky One tomorrow. Really looking forward to The Avengers; heard so many awesome things. Less excited about The Lucky One, but it stars Zefron so I absolutely don’t care if it sucks. Have you seen the size of his arms in the trailer? Hello!
I love this. I’d happily stand in this until soaked through. It even looks warm. I just bloody love big, fat rain drops.

I’m going to put Harry Potter away for now. I just finished watching the series with my mum who hadn’t seen them all in succession of one another. It was lovely to see someone watch them all for the first time and it made me miss that feeling of excitement in watching/reading the series.
It’s always going to be there, so for now, it’s going away. I’ll go back to it in a few years and appreciate it so much more and get excited about watching the movies after a wee while.
It’s incredibly pathetic but I actually feel quite sad about it. I suppose it’s just been consistently there for the past 15 years so to not watch/read anything to do with Potter for the next few years seems strange. But necessary, I think.
There are so many other things out there though! I’m excited to explore new books. I really want to find a genre of books I really love. Christ, I make it sound like I’ve not read anything other than Potter! I have. I promise.
I thought that this was a pivotal moment and decision, thus I have blogged about it. Bye Harry!
With Daniel Day-Lewis. Absolutely incredible film. What an astonishing actor he is. Read a wee bit about it during; DDL never came out of character, even between takes.
He plays Christy Brown, a young guy suffering from a bad case of Cerebral Palsy and part of a large family in the impoverished 1960s Ireland. His only working limb, his left foot, proves to be his life line and the making of a hugely talented painter and writer.
I couldn’t believe how wonderfully DDL played the character (the film is based on a true story). He manages to portray cerebral palsy in a believable way but without invoking pity in the audience. His lack of communicative methods doesn’t stop him finding a way to let the audience get to know the character, no easy feat.
Great film. A must see I think!
Dave Grohl is such a dude.

Ugh I just want someone to love me and write songs about me and write a play for me to star in and want to save me from prostitution and have it rain glitter on us while they sing songs to me inside a giant elephant while I’m wearing just my underwear is that too much to ask
